Using Anchors for Healing

Many older people will remember the researcher known as Ivan Pavlov and how he fed dogs and turned on a light then after several times could turn on the light and the dogs would salivate anticipating food.  He had established an unconscious link with certain behavior.  The vast body of communication between people involves many anchors giving and sharing a large body of information between the parties in the conversation. Effective communicators, therapist and sales people rely heavily on this subliminal information supporting their verbal communication.  Many people have this highly developed at an unconscious level but to be truly effective you should know what is being communicated and when or misinformation can undo your efforts.

Because every illness has some mental component you can easily impact and improve conditions by altering the inner belief structure through anchors.
Think of the mental aspect or belief body to be like the software operating the machine, the physical body.  Healing will follow the beliefs.  Simple anchors take advantage of the established anchor already present from the illness or injury experience there are much like a file name in a computer.   Anchors are fascinating because while there is a body of knowledge behind that access point there is also a body of knowledge excluded from that body.  Someone who believes they have an illness at that moment does not believe they are well and free of pain.  Someone with an infection has, for the moment, excluded being healthy, from their belief structure.  They believe they have specific experiences that prove their condition.  Many are right yet many can change.   Edgar Cayce thought there was no incurable conditions only incurable people.  So I ask the question what happens if someone who has a disease process suddenly gets new additional information in their belief model?  The answer, it creates change.  I have seen it many times.   The concept works very well with preventing illness but also breaking reoccurring health illness patterns.

Many years ago I went to the local state association meeting.  I was in the lobby of a Ramada Inn when a man I knew approached me.  He told me he had heard I was doing some unusual but effective things in my facility and he had a problem with his elbow did I have any suggestions.  He said his elbow was not responding to normal pain treatments. I asked him if there was a specific spot where he had pain and he pointed to a small area on his elbow. By him picking the spot he had given me the ideal anchor plus just coming to me indicated his Unconscious was ready for change.  I reached over and touched this spot and asked him to verify that this was the spot which he did.  I started to gently rub that area and as I did I asked him to describe when this started and how he experienced it.  In the next few minutes he told me how he had always been an avid tennis player but suddenly could not play more than 5 sets.  It seems his elbow would be fine until that point but then suddenly become very painful to move.  At that point you would discover his belief has made measurable physical symptoms such as inflammation, generalized swelling and so on. It is important to understand this spot is directly linked to his belief, the software, about his elbow.  As long as he holds this idea he will not recover his playing ability.  It is a limited belief he has adopted which basically says this is all I can do then there is pain.  There is a value in this process. The unconscious works for him but somehow goals and directions have become confused and without a clear path the unconscious now believes it should shut him down at 5 sets.  Also, he did not consciously decide to limit his playing there were other factors working which created this experience. However, he does not need to know what created the moment only what he needs to release it.  OK, I am still gently rubbing this spot now I ask him how he used to play while still rubbing the spot.  I am doing this so the next time he begins to feel that spot he will get new information.  It is like rewriting a damaged file or downloading an update or patch.  Prior to my anchoring this new material every time he played 5 sets this program ran which said start the pain.  I was now using his past experiences to restore his ability.  At one point he seized upon a very pleasant memory about playing hard and winning I deepened this experience by asking him how good it felt and how great it would be if he could feel that way every time he played.  His beliefs about his elbow before this experience did not limit him to 5 sets so I am restoring that belief over the limited one.  At this point I asked him how that point and his elbow felt.  It is a simple ecology test if his old belief was still running he would state the spot was still sensitive because that is how it was in the beginning of our talk.  If he told me it felt better and maybe moved it around, as if discovering something, I would know the old belief along with the pain had been changed for the better.  He stood there gently twisting and turning his arm to check it but said he could not feel anything.  I never explained what I was doing so when we finished I told him I would think about his elbow and get back to him.  He called me several months later stating he could not remember me doing anything but that his tennis playing ability had returned.  Restoring lost abilities is not always this simple but using simple anchors has no down side.  You do it and if it is enough you get help.  If not you are no worse off.

To do this for yourself find an old injury that you can touch.  Think about how it happened and how it affects you. Generally, a minute or two is all this takes.  Now keep touching the spot and start thinking about things that are more the way you would like them.  If you do not have good memories create some by imagining you are completely cured or free of pain.  If you need help close your eyes and see a great healer advising you or fixing the situation.  If there was a specific memory go back just before it happens then imagine the experience happening but in a way you would like not as you remember it.  You are not trying to undo an old memory just to put in a new alternative version one that is more to you liking.  Your only limit here is your own imagination.  But it is important to get in touch with how good it would feel to be healed then hold that feeling as long as you can.  Keep gently stimulating that point while you do this.   A few minutes should be enough then stop rubbing and relax.  You have effectively changed the belief now the body according to its nature will change to come into alignment with your new belief.  Some fixes happen immediately and some take time.  The body cells and atoms are routinely changed and replaced but some tissue because of it's dense or low circulation nature require time to rebuild.  Also, do not think you need to know exactly how all this happens.  Thinking you must know exactly what created this and what it takes to fix it places a serious limit on your healing ability.  Briefly put, the unconscious even as you read this is monitoring thousands of inputs and in turn creating the conditions within your body for life.  The conscious mind can only hold eight or maybe ten things at a time.

To force the unconscious to relay all the factors related including many it may want to edit out is more than the conscious mind can handle.  If you make this a prerequisite it may abort the project and not change anything. By holding the feeling of being healed you have communicated a clear directive and a vast amount of information to the unconscious.  I have used this technique many times on both mental and physical limits with a high rate of change.
