The present scientific medical model sees life some what like a bell curve. You begin by being born then at some point your physical abilities peak. Some believe the peak occurs around puberty or in the teen years others push the time out from there to as far out as the mid thirties maybe forty. In short, once you peak it is all down hill you just loose something muscle tissue, brain cells, senses and so forth every decade until you finally wind down in death. A correlated belief is that the body is built in your youth and as you use it it wears out. Believing this they pursue looking for chemical markers or triggers in the hope of stopping this process so you have research focused on the physical side of being. There is also work on growing tissue to replace to replace worn out parts much like your car. Most work is done on delaying or correcting the appearance of aging, wrinkles, muscle loss and so forth. In addition to the Western scientific approach there are those who use supplements, natural and formulated, to enhance the body to delay or reverse aging. The main downside to all this is that they dismiss any other model as being as impossible and a fraud. In this they deny themselves many resources.
The Cayce Readings saw most of the problems associated with aging as a breakdown in the normal process of intake, assimilation and excretion. It was thought any age would be possible if you could keep these processes in harmony plus reprogram the self.

3. In giving a discourse upon how this entity may extend the life expectancy, with a body-mind-activity in keeping with the conditions to which the entity may hope to attain, - to be sure each entity, each soul, is in many respects a law unto itself; especially as related to the activities and the diets that would extend or impel life expectancy.
10. As we have indicated for the body, there are certain tendencies, certain weaknesses that are present in the body. They are not diseases, - these are rather dis-eases, when certain stresses or strains are brought to bear in the mental, in the spiritual and physical experience of the entity.
13. To eradicate, to eliminate such from the body, is to be interpreted from that given in the beginning; "Be ye fruitful, multiply, but SUBDUE" the tendencies, the inclinations, "the earth." For, in manifestation in the earth of spiritual and mental forces, it partakes of the earth. And the earth is earthy, as it changes, as it is in constant change.
16. Here we find the necessity for care, for exercise, for constant checking up on the bodily activities; not daily, necessarily, - but we remember that the body-physical alters in its expression continually, and by the end of a cycle of seven years it has entirely replaced that which existed at the beginning of the period seven years ago. Replaced with what? The same old tendencies multiplied, the same old inclinations doubled - or eradicated?
17. This depends, then, upon those activities as related to the influences or tendencies which exist. For, as may be told by any pathologist, there is no known reason why any individual entity should not live as long as it desires. And there is no death, save in thy consciousness. Because all others have died, ye expect to - and you do! These are a part of thy consciousness, in what? In the mental, in the spiritual, - and the physical reacts to same.
25. The tendencies as to the ideal are well. As to whether ye keep same, this ye determine in thine own mind. But ideals are not your mind, - ideals are principles acted upon BY the mind. But remember, just as that expectancy - because your great, great, great, great grandfather died you will die too - is there, and is part of the expectancy of every cell of your body! It can be eradicated, yes. How? By that constant activity within self of expectancy that this condition does not HAVE to happen to you!
32. Knowing the tendencies, supply in the vital energies that ye call the vitamins, or elements. For, remember, while we give many combinations, there are only four elements in your body, - water, salt, soda and iodine. These are the basic elements, they make all the rest! Each vitamin as a component part of an element is simply a combination of these other influences, given a name mostly for confusion to individuals, by those who would tell you what to do for a price!
33. In those activities, then, add - in the proper balance - that which will maintain this equilibrium. And if you set your life to be a hundred and twenty, you can live to be a hundred and twenty-one!

In Huna and in areas such as health readings the body is seen as dynamic energy field not static and always subject to change. For a more detailed description see my page the Theater of Life In short, the body can always be directed to an ideal point which would manifest as youthful and healthy. While you might want to start at the level of say skin and wrinkles ultimately you would want to reprogram your cells to create a whole new reality with more youthful prospects.

I think the key or ideal program is two stage approach moving at both the physical level, as well as, the mental level. My thoughts are below.
To start you must fix any existing problem or weakness in the body. If you have a health challenge you must deal with it directly. You must strengthen the weak links first. That said, to heal quickly you want to move at all levels so locate the herbs and supplements that will heal that process. Apply this approach until you have healed your physical body and are strong enough to withstand the process being challenged.
Do the obvious eat in moderation consuming as much in vegetables and fruits as you can comfortably. Your body simply developed in such a way that these are easier to assimilate freeing more energy for activity or repair, if needed. To the extent you are comfortable in doing so keep the vegetables to a 2 to 1 ratio, that is, 2 from above to every 1 from below the ground by volume. Supplement to the extent you believe your diet is off from the ideal. On the minimum I take C (Ester preferred-500 mg with Bioflavinoids) E (d-alpha with mixed tocpherols) and I, once or twice a week, take 6-7 Biotech Cell Guard all of which can be found through Vitacost and other suppliers listed on my Product Review page. Cell Guard dramatically raises your natural antioxidants (super-oxide dismutase, catalase & methionine reductase) reducing the free radicals in your body. It also causes a synovial fluid clearing which promotes joint healing. I also take anything else needed for my healing or overall health. I have one clean, as possible, meal and this is my nutrient flush meal. I do not take in anything with caffeine or any substance I know is hard on the body. This is my supplement meal and I keep it clean to fully absorb everything I take. Ideally, you should have one nutrient flush meal every 24 hours. If you must have coffee or tea do it 15-20 minutes after the meal. Minimize the things that tax the organs such as drugs, alcohol, processed foods, pork, white sugar and so forth. These steps will liberate energy you can use for regaining youthful activities.
Exercise at a comfortable level gradually increasing it to what you believe is your ideal. Exercise is important to move energy and prevent restrictions or blockages which will in time manifest as physical problems.
To the extent you can reduce your stress levels. More and more evidence keeps coming forward that stress pushes the body and challenges the internal systems. It is the fight or flight concept but continual stress keeps loading the body in such a way the weakest system(s) become weaker or fail. While it is true you have separate systems they each depend one upon the other and are all interlinked. You can't expect to challenge the aging process with organs in distress. If you have lived under high stress for a long time take an adrenal supplement because this is the primary organ weakened by the constant fight or flight stress experience.
Be sure your spine is in good health. The spine is often neglected but it is a critical part of the communication system the organs need to function correctly. Long term spinal vertebrae displacements cut the related organ system off from the reflex centers and the brain causing it to operate independent of the nervous system. There clearly is a chemical path throughout the body but there is no evidence that an organ system can operate based upon that communication path alone.
You must proactively de-hypnotize yourself then reprogram a new self image. The body is built from the elements you provide based upon the inner blueprint laid out in your core beliefs. All your programming to this point has been that you will age and die as others have you now must undo this and insert a new program. There are many tools such as Timelines , anchoring and the Power of the Now.
Last and probably the most important activity is to create a regeneration ritual. A regeneration ritual based upon your ideals. This is a process you do routinely that convinces your Unconscious you are being regenerated. Doing this routinely will incrementally move you in this direction. As an example I will describe two of my renewal meditations below.
On the weekend I do a power walk alone. I walk a local park trail as fast as I can comfortably finishing with a short run.
Once I am started walking and only if I am free of distractions I curl my tongue (described here ) and say the following quietly but with meaning.
I now release any old or limiting beliefs about myself that I might test new ideas for better health and a longer life.
I now draw from the Universe the energy for a healthy mind and intuitions.
I draw from the Earth the energy for a healthy youthful body programmed to avoid injury and immune to disease with remarkable recovery ability.
I now attune my body to Perfect Pulses (or perfect health etc.)(the concept of perfect harmony from the Creator down to the smallest atom in my body).
I now take on the lifestyle and attract the knowledge or intuitions that will extend my life as long as possible, in a healthy hurtless way.
I then walk silently holding that mind set/feeling and paying attention to any feed back I may get. If at this point I get an impression to take a supplement, eat a food or do something special I put it on my give it consideration list and go on to my workout.
Another activity I do as an alternate is to breathe deeply holding the breath comfortably. I then see my chest area glowing and the energy moving out through my arteries. I keep breathing deeply and see the energy flowing out to the tips of my body through the capillaries then returning through my veins. I next see it clearing all the vessels and healing them giving them a flexible healthy look. Once I see this I expand the glowing over to every cell although I usually see just a few knowing it is happening to all. And as this energy expands out to the cells I see it charging them giving them great vitality. Once I have energized the cells I see them pushing out toxins and unneeded chemicals or energies back to the circulation system where they are quickly swept away to be removed or reprocessed by the organs. Again, at the end I remain silent to see if my Unconscious has any feed back for me.
In summary, most of what you see today called anti-aging is actually healing or masking the symptoms. I have yet to see anything where the clock is run backwards and people truly regain youth or even achieve an ideal state. There is healing where people recover abilities they should have regardless of age but that is not rolling time back. I do not think it is impossible just not discovered or perhaps just not known to me . There will be break through's but I encourage you to do what you can today and not be concerned about tomorrow. I have set out my ideas which work well for me and you must discover what works for you.
