Death and Dying
Some subjects are never easy to discuss especially when you do not know who or when they will read your ideas.
However, death is always with us and has a special place in healing. I have spent many hours with people dying, in part,
because I never wanted anyone in my care to pass alone. It is not that I that it would be bad or harmful but I think at least
most people are poorly prepared to move on and they do their best to find security here. They fear moving on and often
feel their life is incomplete or unfinished. Here on this page I will share the little I have learned over the years.
In life we extend ourselves into this world through a vehicle called the Unconscious Mind which further develops a focus
point or Conscious Mind. The Conscious Mind has a very narrow focus and using the senses gathers information about
this world. It reports the feedback from the effects of our inner creations. Growing spiritually is safely expanding this part
of Mind to where it begins to comfortably enter the Unconscious and obtain information from the inner levels of being as
well as the out levels.
In death we fold back into ourselves and merge with the higher aspects of our self. Our life's experiences and learning have
added something and we take those things with us.
In acupuncture it is taught you take on perfect pulses shortly before death. I believe it is the result of our merging with our
higher mental self. It has been my experience that the deeper/higher levels of self are all loving, understanding and forgiving.
People who have regrets will as they move closer to the higher levels of being suddenly feel a sense of understanding and
calm. Those who cross over with fears, feelings of guilt or low self worth pass through a period of self imposed punishment
if they come back here the place they describe is anything but heaven. However, if they could have pressed on further they
would naturally move into the light which is their own connection with the Universe and experience joy that exceeds words
or descriptions of any kind. In Huna it is believed there is a perfect plan of your life held by the High Self. Your life is
compared to that plan during transition. They key, in terms of preparation, is to resolve any unfinished business
here and keep reinforcing the idea of moving into the light and abiding there forever.
Not too long ago I was visiting with friends who are older and thinking a lot about death. One told me he was concerned
about the things he wished he could do over but now the opportunity has passed from him. I told him the next time he
thinks of such an experience or memory he should plug back into it and see himself reliving it exactly as he would if it were
happening at that moment keeping in mind he could change anything needed. In doing this he records, at his inner level, his
lesson learned and shows his unconscious he knows and understands the lesson in his experience. Why else would his
unconscious bring up an old memory? It is giving him the opportunity of reliving and correcting his error in
judgement. There are many such times in life and taking advantage of those moments helps you to grow spiritually and it
prepares you for your movement up to higher levels.
