I must confess my severe headaches are few and far between. In fact, mine are caused by stress so I can easily take 2
Valerian Root in the evening along with 4-6 Calmes Forte and in a few hours I am a new man free of all pain. However, a
good friend of mine suffered from migraine headaches. In the hope of helping him I spent time combing over old notes
and this is what I told him.
Severe headaches come from energy organ imbalances. The deep cause is often diet or diet linked but once the pattern comes
forth you need to balance all the in-coordinated systems. Toxins are a key factor, as well as, spinal imbalances so ideally
you would move to correct both. You can take over the counter medicines to stop the pain but if the conditions return
you have not corrected the condition or cause. Cranial faults can also be a factor, as well as, tumors and other conditions
but I think they are the exception not the rule. However, my ideas do not conflict with any medical regime. If the
conditions persisted after working with the ideas below I would naturally seek other opinions until I obtained the desired
result of pain free health.
Ideally, you would be balanced or checked by a qualified healer. In the absence of that I would do the following as a
starting point.
If I had migraines I would correct this imbalance by cleaning up my diet moving to a more natural regime eating salads
once a day and as many fruits and vegetables as you can tolerate comfortably. I would eat more vegetables from above
the ground than below. In this area I would avoid fried foods, white sugar, alcohol, drugs and highly processed foods. I
would eat protein sources but keep them to a minimum. Strive for a balance in the diet that keeps your intestines regular. If I was unable to achieve a balanced diet I would look for a good quality natural vitamin blend to support my healing.
The key vitamins would be C (Ester with bioflavinoids) and E (d-alpha in mixed base if you can find it). Colonics are
good if you are so inclined but there are also many colon fiber products that while less effective can still do the job. Do
not become dependent upon laxatives. To use them briefly and occasionally to restore normal intestinal movement is one
thing but going beyond that point does more harm than good and can create weakness that in time becomes its own
problem. An herb that may help would be Fo-Ti because it helps restore the normal kidney liver relationship and the
night time hepatic flow.
Your spine needs to checked by an osteopathic (check first many no longer adjust the spine-it is considered old school) or
a chiropractic physician paying special attention to the thoracic and lumbar regions. A good acupuncturist could also
balance you which would accomplish the same improved energy movement.
See how much you can heal in a week or two. As you see progress you can determine how to adjust your regime to
achieve complete healing.
