Love
Love is, simply stated, placing the welfare of another or others beyond or above your own. If you must sacrifice it should be made in joy or a sense of good. It is revealed in actions which often contradict the words that come from the same source. Trust the deeds if you would know the truth. If you need to ask for loving gestures it is not there for it would happen without request. It does not require you to be a victim nor is it passion yet it could be a part of passion. Loving responses should lead to a higher ground and not push you back. While it is true the world would be a better place with more love in it you must know it can not be forced but only comes of its own volition. It requires its own fertile ground or correct conditions to fully manifest. This concept could also be interpeted as do no harm or the hurtless life.
I believe love or how we relate to each other is the determining factor in how much we take from our lives when we cross over. There is simply nothing else that holds real value. Anything we invent, accumulate or build can not be taken with us and in 500 or 1,000 years will have returned to the Earth. While mental growth is very good it could be accomplished alone so why be here? Love is the ultimate psychology or relationship path. It is the perfect pattern for behavior. In an ideal world you would love all those in your life for who they are and forgive all their faults. To do this while you and the others were alive would be the highest good. In a perfect world you would love those you encounter in life for who they are. You would not attempt to fix or correct them. Keep in mind if you sacrifice yourself you have not loved yourself properly. Strive for the balance that lies between. This is one of life's greatest challenges. This concept is not new but ever timely.
Relationships ships follow a similar concept. The best ones are where the parties compete to put in not take out. If one party takes substantially more than the other out of the relationship it is doomed. Ideal relationships are where independent parties depend upon each other.
