Timeline therapy

Timeline work is fascinating and very effective in self healing.  It is based upon the concept that our life functions or unfolds in a line. Generally speaking our memories are our mold and our personality springs from that mold.  Our physical body also is molded, at least in part, from those experiences. Everyone can trace back some limitation to an experience and that experience usually has some emotional environment. However, few understand how fluid those memories can be or how to use them to heal. Those memories were perceived through the filters of your beliefs and are recalled through those same filters.  This is why many people watching the same scene will describe it differently.  The beliefs attract the experiences which appear to happen by themselves but they then reinforce the belief.  The cycle stops when you change the core belief and not before that point of action.

Just as the memories create the personality and the body so to can they heal it.  
It is much like an archer or just throwing a ball even the slightest change back at the source can have a dramatic effect upon the outcome or target.

Often hard to heal areas of the body are held in place by a single memory.  Our ankle, leg back or neck may never seem to be right because of .................. (the memory of an injury or period of illness).

The way to correct this is simple you change the memory.  In changing the memory you alter the outcome which in the physical sense is your health.  Just as a slight change at the bow or in the release of a ball will change where it lands so too will even a slight change in your remembered experience improve your prospects for better health.  

If this is an accessible injury area then start by remembering a time that part or area worked perfectly.  If you do not have such a memory imagine it being so and deepen the experience by getting into the feeling of being completely healed. As you hold this idea massage the area.  If you loose the concept stop massaging and do not go back to massaging until you have the idea of being completely healed again.  Only massage the area while you are in the completely healed mode.

For areas or processes not easy to access set up two anchors.  Finger nails make good anchors but any part of the body will work.  On the first one gently massage or rub it softly as you think of the limit in health or any pain involved in this challenge.  ONLY RUB THIS ANCHOR OR SPOT WHILE YOU ARE THINKING OF THE PROBLEM.  Think back to when it began and how it started.  Remember it in as much detail as you can. This should take a few minutes but at some point you will feel as though all the material is there.

Next, take a breath and clear your thoughts.  As soon as you feel your thoughts are clear pick another convenient anchor one that is close to the first anchor. Now gently rub or stroke that anchor and as you do go back to a moment before your injury or illness memory only this time imagine you went through that day and nothing bad happened.  In short, rewrite that experience in a way you would be happy.  You might do this in more than one way.  You cold see yourself not having your bad experience by doing the day differently several different ways.  If you did something bad or just poorly here is your chance to see yourself doing it right.  As you finish this get deeply into how good it would feel to have this day be a beautiful one filled with joy.  If a therapy is needed here see yourself going through all of the steps completely and finishing perfectly.

Last, rub both anchors together and say to yourself I would be happy if this ........................ passed from me even if I do not fully know how this happens and if there is anything I need to understand here it will come to me in a safe and understandable way.  In rubbing or stimulating both triggers or anchors at the same time you add new material and greater possibilities to your self expression. you can see my video covering this here.

Following this relax and release your thoughts.  Succeeding here would mean there would be a change for the better plus if anything more is needed such as knowledge, a therapy, nutrition you will naturally attract it.
